How to prepare for Maths CLAT 2013 Are you thinking ahaann…!! Just 20 marks leave it I will prepare for sections which are for 40 or 50 marks. So today in this article I am going to discuss that how can u get at least 15-16 marks in this section for that no doubt you have to work hard but in the right direction. Because this particular section actually can decide that in which law school you get into. Step-1 (Books) R.S Aggarwal's book titled quantative aptitude and if you want to clear your concepts of math's and you are not from math's background than you should get hold of 18 days of math's wonder by S.Chand. It can be completed in three days. But if you are too weak in maths then you should get the books of R.S Aggarwal's for I.C.S.E from classes 5th to 10th and cover all the topics of CLAT. The I.C.S.E books are for those who are extremely weak in maths because these books would clear the basic concepts of maths. So, those who are good in maths should directly go for R.S aggarwal but those who are weak in maths should go for the 18 days maths wonder + I.C.S.E books. Step-2 (The topics that you need to cover) Numbers, HCF & LCM, Decimal Fractions, Simplification, Square root and Cube roots, Average, Problems on Numbers, Problems on Age, Percentage, Profit &Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Chain Rule, Time and Work, Pipes and cistern, Time & Distance, Problems on Trains, Boats & Streams, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Volume & Surface Area, Clock & Calendars , Permutations and Combinations and Probability. Step-3 (How much time you need to devote to this subject) Maths is easy for those who are clear with their basics and difficult for those who are not. So, the time you need to give to maths is that you need to practice maths everyday for at least 30 minutes this is the minimum time. Step-4 ( Suggestions)
  • · When you practice maths mark the questions that you find difficult or you think are important because these questions can serve you as a self made test when you want to revise a particular topic.
  • · Make micro notes of the formulas from all the topics and revise them every day by writing
So, guyz please take maths seriously or it can affect your score. I hope my articles are helping you out if any queries regarding the same you can leave comments below. Please ask your problems.
