It is also called the helping verb. Auxiliary verbs are of two types : 1. Primary Auxiliary 2. Modal Auxiliary 1. Primary Auxiliary Can be used as a main and a auxiliary verb Changes as per the subject. Types of auxiliaries- to be: are, is, was, were to do: do, does, did to have: have, has, had 2.
