Campus Recruitment Process for Selecting Students Usually every company will follow their own selection process but When coming to the Campus placement point of view almost every company will follow the process mentioned below. As this will be easy for them to eliminate the students who doesn’t meet their expectations and at the same time the potential student will get an opportunity for the advancement in the process.  So here are the steps in the Campus Recruitment Process :

  • Pre – Placement talk (Corporate Presentation)
  • Written Exam  (Online or Offline)
  • Group Discussion
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview

Campus Recruitment Process : 

Pre – Placement talk :

This is also called as Corporate Presentation. In this phase the recruiters will provide the information regarding their company, selection process,  growth in their company,CTC, Future rolls for their employees, service bond etc, The Human Resource head of the company will explain regarding the issues quoted above.  If the students have any doubts regarding the issues that they have explained can ask their query  and the HR Head and his team will clarify your doubts.

Written Exam :

They may conduct either Online or Offline Exam. It depends on systems available and the students came to attend the written exam. However the exam majorly consist of  Aptitude skill test (Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning),  Computer Knowledge test, Core Subject knowledge test and finally English test.

Group Discussion :

The students who are qualified in the written exam are eligible for this round. In this round  the HR team will give a topic for the group of students and ask them to discuss regarding the topic. They will try to trace the team spirit, Reasoning ability, Leadership qualities, Flexibility, Initiation, Assertiveness  Awareness,  Communication skill are tested.

Interview with Technical experts:

The students who have cleared the Group discussion will be eligible for the Technical Experts interview. After this there will be an Interview on the Core subjects with the Technical Experts.

Final Interview with HRs :

This is the the final Interview in the Selection Process. The HR Experts will check the Positive attitude , Communication Skills, Target Setting  & Reaching the Target by the Student and General Awareness.
